Patek Philippe 5260/1455R Grand Complication
Patek Philippe introduces the first Grand Complication in its “contemporary casual” line for ladies, Aquanaut Luce.
This Haute Joaillerie minute repeater is paved with 130 baguette-cut diamonds (8.66 cts) on the dial and 779 multicolored baguette-cut sapphires (45.05 cts) forming a rainbow on the bezel, case sides and bracelet using the sophisticated “invisible setting” technique.
The dial features twelve multicolored sapphire hour-markers, a diamond hour ring, a ruby-set hour hand and a blue sapphire-set minute hand.
The sapphire crystal case-back reveals self-winding R 27 caliber with its two classic gongs.
Patek Philippe reinterprets the design of its most complicated wristwatch by offering it for the first time in a "two-tone" version combining white gold and rose gold, along with brown opaline dials. Among the 20 complications are five acoustic functions, including two patented world exclusives: an alarm sounding the programmed time and a date-repeater striking the date on demand. The reversible double-sided case is distinguished by its patented swivel mechanism, enabling it to be worn with either dial visible. This watch is accompanied by white gold cufflinks featuring a brown opaline center adorned with hand-guilloched hobnail pattern and a rose gold Calatrava cross.
